Two a capella choral works by William Schuman and Charles Ives
From a 1937 recording, the Madrigal Singers, under the direction of Lehman Engel, perform choral works by William Schuman and Charles Ives. First heard is Schuman’s “Choral Etude” composed in 1937, this is then followed by Charles Ives’ setting of the 67 Psalm, composed in 1898-99.
